Here is a link to the new Festool Kapex, a compound miter saw. Looks pricey. Not sure of the US release date.

Few people understand it. Nobody agrees what it is, how to learn about it, or who's responsible for it. It has never been more important

YES! Another tool to buy! That is so awesome! Stupid festool making me spend all my money. Seriously though, it does look pretty cool.

Yes it does, some day when my ship comes in I will buy one. Right now I am lusting after more Festool sanders.
Hmmmm. . . I wonder how the dust collection will be?
Dustin (no pun intended)
YES!! Very cool! And it is only $1055.00!! What a steal! ;)
Gee if they are that cheap I had better get two.
You mean you don't already have 2? I'm sorry bro. What do you do when you have to cut the opposite 45 degree corner? ;)
Man why didn't I think of that when I told the wife I wanted one.
OMIGOD! Another Festool gotta-have!
I can't stand it! If you spring for the plunge-cut 55 saw and guide, then you need the multi-function table, the special square for doing setups, the dust collection, etc.
There's a couple grand.
Then the Domino, its systainers, couple carry pacs of tenons of all sizes, accessory or two.
Another large and a half.
Now the new Kapex, and for sure the Visigoths of Voodverking will dream up a set-up stand with side tables for the rig.
Probably two for the whole kit.
I'm gonna have to go knock off a couple 7-11s!
Yup, of course you have to have the CF22 vac, and the MFT1080 to sit it on and of course the extension rails, larger hose (CF22 only comes with the small hose) oh yeah the optional boom arm for the vac plus the optional handle for the vac. Don't forget the "hose garage" systainer too.
Don't ask me how I know all that, it was a $$$ lesson.
OK, I just did the video three times. The table! The stand! Integral dust collection!
Will it all break down and fit in the front trunk of the Porsche? I'll bet it will!
