We are about to start insulating our new house, which has lots of vaulted ceilings vented at soffits and peaks. It would seem to me that loose unfaced fiberglass directly exposed with venting air would lose some effectiveness. I would imagine that air mixes in the outer couple of inches of the FG due to convection, etc.
Does stapling up those foam vent channels before installing FG make any sense? Can it possibly hurt?
Thanks before hand.
