Hey everyone, question: I subscribed to FHB this year because after reading it I couldnt read TOH, or Family Handyman anymore. When does it typically make it to your door? I am waiting for the next issue anxiously! The only other mag I read these days is Old House Journal because my wife is in the preservation trades.

I usually get mine a week or two after the image of the new issue appears at the Breaktime lead page.
It very rarely is within a few days and never at the same time.
As for your first issue after subscribing, not sure.
I think it took several weeks for me.
as i recall they mail them from michagin in batches to different parts of the country, so everyone doesn't get them at the same time.
for some time it takes weeeks, but if it hits the stands before u get it as a subscriber, Andy doesn't like it.
i usually get mine within a couple days of someone posting a comment on one of teh articles.

The earliest you should expect to see regular issues in your mailbox is the third week of odd numbered months. Houses is the third week in April, and K&B the third week in October.
