I’m a fan of the magazine, but I canceled my subscription because I am living overseas for now. I just got a charge of $39.95 on my credit card though, and not sure why. I can still logon to the website, so I looked a the Membership page to see what the $39.95 offer is for since I don’t get the magazine. Under the heading of Membership, there is no such offering listed. But, I can not access the archive. When I try it says for me to login in, even though I am already logged in. When I click on that it takes me to a page to login in or create a new membership. If I click login it takes me back to the original page that tells me to login. A loop.
Since I can’t figure out what value I get for $39.95 other than maybe to use this forum (and there are also plenty of free forums to use) I decided to just cancel whatever it is that I’m supposed to get for $39.95. For several days now I have tried to “cancel” in Manage Account, but I get a message when I submit that says it can’t do it now and try later.
I also tried to stop automatic renewal but seems to be no such function.
The credit card on file is no longer valid (unrelated to FHB I canceled it), so I need to remove that from the record. Seems I can only replace it with another one. I should not be required to have my credit card stored by FHB.
I tried to use the Contact FHB function, but that doesn’t work either. It says “error” in the text box and I can’t enter my text.
After all these website bugs are fixed, I highly recommend adding a “Products” tab to the banner heading. On this page list all the offerings that FHB has, what is included with each one, and what it costs along with a buy button for each one.
