I’m drawing plans for a garage & workshop building and want to match the exterior siding of the existing residence. The residence was built in the mid-seventies and is sided with 2 x 6 T&G Cedar siding (smooth). Does anyone know of a fiber-cement siding manufacturer that makes a T&G product (or similar)? It seems like the ones I’ve found on the web were either lap siding or panels. I suppose we could use the trim boards but that seems a bit hokey. I want to use a fiber-cement type siding (or equivalent) because the owner would like something low-maintenance. Any ideas?
