I am looking at Fiberon decking and find that most yards do not or no longer carry in NE. Is there a reason? Quality? NE distributor?

One of my neighbors had a deck done last Fall. About 60% of the decking now has to be replaced, due to the boards warping like pretzels.
Fiberon warping- that is the first time I have heard any mention of that happening with a composite type material
From what the neighbor told me, they had purchased it at the local HD last Fall and had a handyman install it. I suspect it was an installation issue as it was the 1st time the handyman had installed the decking, and he did the work for a super cheap price.
Have a 500 sq ft deck I built in 2001, looks great, used ceramic coated screws for fasteners, pre drilled. I would use their railing system too. I am going to use it to replace my PT stained railings. I want no upkeep, except for a yearly bleach bath for mildew. Jim Z
