Our client wants the nail holes filled on recently installed novelty siding. We primed our boards (both sides) before installing so the nail heads (galv siding nails) are not primed. Do we need to prime the nail heads before filling? What is the best wood filler to use. I guess we are planning to prime, fill, sand and prime again. Any opinions?

Sorry - I'm no help, but what is "novelty siding"?
