Ever since WoodWorkers Wrhse folded, it is a PITA to find all those little things that they carried.
like special router bits
butcher block finish
Brad point bits
tapered countersinks
drawer slides and cup hinges
Specialty tools
……………
Anyone in the southern tier NY / northern tier PA find a good alternative? For a while in the 90’s, it looked like Woodworkers Supply was goig to expand.
But WWW put a store near all of thier branches and they shut them down.
shame…

Is there a Woodcraft near you? They seem to have a lot of good stuff. I like them better than Rocklers.

I think there is one in Rochester, but that is 2 hours one way.
Syracuse is another posibility but that is also 2 hours.
Anyone from Williamsport PA care to share?
For now it looks like the HD, Lowes, craftstore, HW search is my only solution.Mr T

Trend-Lines evolved into Woodworkers Warehouse. You know the rest.
It was a good concept, but ( IMHO) poorly managed.
ok that explains that..how about Woodworkers Supply..used to be outta New Mexico? they dry up too?

Absolutely not, re Woodworkers Supply. That's my cousin, John Wirth, who owns it.
I like tool crib of the north (amazon) for ordering over the phone or internet. There in Minnesota, also like was mentioned McFeelys has great screws and router bits I buy from Woodline I think theyre in Tennesse now. They have cheap bits but I really like them.

I googled "Woodworkers Supply" and found this:
http://www.woodworkerswarehouse.com/
It starts with a notice about the WWW bankruptcy and then a home page for Bob's cousin's business.

Woodworkers Supply can be found at http://www.woodworker.com
Look in the latest issue of FH and you can see their ad.

try that

I sure don't envy that choice. Aren't there any delivering wholesalers around there? My stuff comes out of Richmond, an hour away, 3 times/week. Your list includes some items not normally carried by cabinet shop suppliers, but what is, is best bought from one.
Where do the local shops get hardware? Shouldn't be any problem going the same place, other than package quantities.
I recently went through a major search for a particular concealed drawer guide, no longer available from the previous manufacturer. Even my second choice, quadro, isn't made the same way it was a couple years ago. Finally settled on generic mounts. Came with a new catalog from Blum, which had exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately the idiot I dealt with didn't have a clue. I don't do enough volume to warrant them sending out new catalogs routinely. Need any 18" or 22"? PAHS Designer/Builder- Bury it!
McFeeleys is on the east coast and should be a 1-2 day UPS delivery.
Amazon (tool-crib) stocks pretty much everything.
Try here they have some really neat hardware that I just havn't seen anywhere else.
or Rockler or the Japan woodworker and Garrett Wade for the neato tools.

The Grizzly showroom in Muncy (only a couple miles from Williamsport) is huge and it carries quite a bit.
