I am about to scrape and paint a house that hasnâ€â„¢t been painted in too long. As a result there is some warping of the siding and the corners are no longer neatly meeting (see attached photo). My question is this: what is the best way to fill the gap so that there is a clean looking joint so that I donâ€â„¢t have to replace what is other wise good siding?
Thanks, M

Big M .cut back two foot each direction and replace. You will be happier when you look at it.
I am a big fan of this stuff; http://www.smithandcompany.org/ especially the penatrating resin.
Expensive nasty stuff but it makes paint stick to wasted wood like that.
I am guessing some replacement is in order.
