I just scored some of this stuff from my shooting buddy..it is for reloaders BUT..it works wherever you would use Graphite, without the Black mess.
It is pulverized MICA…white and as fine as talcum powder.
A light dusting on a tablesaw surface, or a jointer and hang on..stuff practicly shoots right off, with no bad residue.

I don’t know the cost, it was a gift..but I have a 4oz. tub, that might last a few yrs.
Check it out.
It is made for keeping bullets from sticking as you reload a case.
I think a bulb duster or a flux brush handy will really help with application.

You say that a quick dusting on a table saw top and the wood walks across by itself, well you said something like that!
How long will it stay there? I mean when I hit the table top with wax it's good for a little while because it "sticks", will this stuff move off as fast as the first couple boards sweep across the table top?
Just curious, because the wax isn't ideal either.

I did my 7' jointer bed last week..it has been real humid here, and I may have run...50 passes @ 8'....white pine and ash...seems to last longer than paste wax or talc...but I don't know yet HOW much longer.
When it gets humid here, wax seems lose it's charm pretty quickly.
I guess we'll see..so far, so slick.
Oh, I also swiped a fresh jointed edge with some 180 paper, and shot some Deft on it...no fisheye or orange peel..WHEE HEE.
EDIT: I am certain it has NO rust preventive nature, but it doent seem to be affected by moisture..I mean, it doesnt attract moisture.

Nope, this only a 6" Ryobi AH115 ( no longer made) it has an extension roller to actually get to 7'..the beds are 6' or so.

I think the mica is actually intended to reduce the effort and wear on the neck expanding die. Keeping the bullet from sticking sounds like a bad idea.
Once again, you are correct..I was avoiding being too technical on the reloading process.
His .308 gets resized brass ( norma) and he loads quite anally..seats the bullets to a .001 tolerance, and grains of powder almost to the single piece..
I guess that why he can shoot 5 rounds and ya can only find one big hole..if the backpaper does not scroll, ya'd think he was shooting off the paper.
