Finding contractor for boiler work
Thanks for the feedback on the previous thread. zoning radiator heat
I am having trouble finding someone who will perform a heat loss calc, and who will work with me on selecting the best replacement boiler/system. I really want to increase the comfort and efficiency of my entire system through use of TRVs or zoning. Any tips on finding an appropriate contractor?

If you'd fill in your profile, you might get a recommendation. I know a boiler guy in central Va who knows his stuff, although you might be asking more.
Heat loss calcs aren't diffilcult to perform. I do mine manually, not being proficient with a computer program. As for HVAC guys, I have yet to see one do calcs, they just use rule of thumb.

I have been on the heating help website (great information) and have also performed my own heat loss calculation. I would like to get professional verification of it and also talk about what changes/updates would be best for my system.
