Couple of questions for you finish carpenters. I have new windows installed, with extension jambs flush to the drywall. There are two windows on either side of a corner that are too close to the corner to case around individually. I was going to use some 1/4-inch pine flat stock and wrap the inside corner to make the windows appear to be continuous around the corner. However, the 1/4-inch stock will look sort of odd where it meets the casing at the top and bottom which will go around both windows. Any suggestions on what to do here?
Also, there is a window that has extension jambs that are too short. The jambs were preordered. I can get thicker jambs or make my own, but I was wondering if there is any simple way to add on to the extension jambs. Maybe biscuits?
Thanks in advance.

Narrow the ext. jambs on the corner only, leave the head and sill extensions full width and wrap the casing around the corner. Consider the corner upright extensions a mullion. It'll be set back from the casing extensions.
You could add on to what you have on the too narrow (think that's what you meant) extensions, sand smooth. Or you can add ext. to the already extended jambs, but you should step the second ext. back a little from the face of the orig. ext jambs.
