I have a 24′ I 32′ concrete slab with radiant heat: a daylight basement. This will be a living room, laundry/bath, and boiler room. Any thoughts on topping this with a 1″ layer of concrete, etching with acid, and staining. Could I achieve a “natural rock” or “leather” type appearance? My main goal is a finished look, but yet unique and less labor/cost.
