What’s the best way to sand new stair treads? I’m sanding and finishing about 1500 square feet of brazilian cherry, but I’m not sure what to do on the treads. Do I hand scrape them? Use and edger?
Thanks in advance.

fastest way? sand using a DA sander.. those square pad ones work best here.
Hand scrapping will produce the finest results but probably nicer than needed for flooring..
For new?
I sand with the orbital before installing them. protect in place. Than a light hand sanding to clean it up before the finish
