Fire Extinguish travel distances

I need to know if NFPA-10 from the early nineties, required a miximum travel distance to fire extinguishers in office buildings.
I got banged by OSHA for excess travel distance in a leased office building. If I can prove it met code at the time of construction, (1992), then I will cover the cost to add the new extinguisher. If it didn’t meet code at time of construction, then the landlord is responsible.
Nobody I know has copies of the code that old.
