I live in SW Fl where aluminum windows are the norm. My problem is I have single hung aluminum windows( in the house I am selling) which have no springs or action to them. I know for certain the buyers home inspection
will force me to repair them and I cannot find any info to do so. The way the windows are trimmed out and all openings fitted with fasteners for
hurricane panels rules out simple/cost effective replacement. Does anyone
have any real experience repairing these windows? Any help is greatly
appreciated.
