Hey all,
Looking for some advice with our concrete countertops. Any advice would be appreciated.
Here is the scoop, The epoxy finish on our concrete counters is beginning to chip and peel.
I`m thinking applying an overlay would solve the problem. Will this work? And, Can I just apply
a bonding primer rather than grind off the existing finish prior to the overlay? Also, what is the best
sealer to use? I`m thinking of using the skimstone products for the overlay.
Thanks in advance.

First ... I'm not an expert in concrete counters ... just interested and read some ... particularly of some posters to this website and 'the other' (BT Classic). "epoxy finish" doesn't sound right to begin with for concrete counters. Doesn't sound like the right material to finish it with. Not sure what you mean by 'overlay'
but again, I'm not the expert. Maybe a couple other guys that have done it a LOT will chime in (e.g. where's Mongo when you need him?). So this is a bump to start some response.
