I am getting ready to install a flag stone walk. I was wondering if you should use edging, and if you have any suggestion or hints on what type. Also if you have any suggestions on installing the flagstone. Thanks guys

If it just sits on top of dirt it will be c r a p p y.
The usual technique is to dig out the dirt to a depth of about 3-4 ". Add sand to a depth so that the flagstone is at the same level as your dirt. Using two pieces of long conduit, set that elevation and then strike off the sand in between to create a flat level sand base for the flagstone.
Add the stone. Dust fine mason's sand in between the stones.
