Our Elec Svc enters the house via a conduit chase in roof/eave. I need to replace the flashing when the I replace the shingles (Hatteras thanks to Mr. Smith). I haven’t found a solution that doesn’t involve disconnecting the service feed.
Anyone know of a technique that works without slipping a new flashing/boot over the top of the conduit?
Thank You!

Buy two roof flashings. Cut one from the center on down and the other center on up. Place the top slotted first, then the bottom slotted.
Otherwise, get those copper slotted wire bolts, attach the wires to a board, space them apart with bent over nails, tie a rope to the line and tie it to the mast, keep one hand in your pocket, etc.
You need what is termed a 'split' type roof boot. Usually used for vent pipes it is also usable for electrical risers. It is a rubber coated metal sheet that is slit to allow it to be placed around a pipe without having to thread it over the top. A rubber accordion section allows for some pipe flexing and different pipe sizes. A metal reinforced vertical seam runs up the down-hill side. This is sealed by a series of captive nuts and stainless screws.
These are reliable and long-lived. They are a bit more expensive than the normal boot but they are quite adaptable.
I like the split option better than "double and cut". I cannot find a source online. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks again!

Check the plumbing isles in the local big box hardware store. I have seen them in both Lowes and Home Despot. Pretty common item but one a lot of folks don't know about. Commonly used during reroofing jobs and root or electrical repairs.Generally this is what your looking for:
