Well, I’ve done what I think will fix my flashing blunder. I took your suggestions and put some flashing tape around the window flanges. I also caulked around them before I put on the siding.
Also, the min sheathing thickness for a shear wall in this area is 5/16″. The siding is 5/8″ and is actually smartpanel siding. I was referring to it as t-111. Don’t know if that makes a difference.
I didn’t nail the top foot of siding yet so I could later slip the housewrap down behind and over top of the lower course. Or, is it better to add the z metal flashing and lap the housewrap over that?
Piffin, i don’t know why they gave me green guard to use as building paper but I do know that some kind of felt or wrap is required. Maybe they thought that the drainage planes would help to keep moisture from hanging out and soaking the insulation? Hopefully it’ll never come to that.
Thanks, everyone for your interest and input.

Here are some other pics for your consideration, or amusement. One's a picture of our view. weather's been pretty soggy.
Two questions.
Can you shrink those picture files down in size? Those on dial up will never even bother to open them.
What kind of warrenty do you have on your doors and windws? Most say protect from weather untill installed. That means the house is under a dry roof I think.

They are vinyl windows so that will be OK.I have not openned these because of size. He did have another thread last week on this

Thought of that after I hit post.
My luck is such that someone would send an errant chunk of lumber through one of them as the second floor was going up.

How did you get the sheathing up with your foundation trench not filled in? :) How tall are you anyways?
Pinned a 2x4, to a chalk line, on my foundation wall for a ledger. Set the first piece plumb and tacked it in place, down low. then ran inside, up a ladder and tacked it up high. Then repeated the process till I was done. An advantage, I guess, when you don't have the next floor/cieling on yet.

OK.
I had a funny image of you hanging upside down from the tops of your feet from the top plate nailing the siding on :)
