I am currently remodling a house that has a half brick wall, a limestone cap, and beveled wood siding that meets the cap at the back of the brick.
The original builder did not install flashing at this location. I am in the process of reinistalling the limestone cap and replacing some of the wood siding. Is a strip of flashing required? If so how should it be installed.
