Does anyone know of a good reference for flashing details? I’ve looked to the AIA Graphic Standards to Residential Construciton, but it wasn’t complete.

cindy.. the secret of flashing is to think like a drop of water
there are generally 3 things that can effect it..
gravity
wind
capillary action
the flashing has to protect from all three.. and it has to be long lasting..... like forever would be good

All types of flashing. Roof, wall, wall windows, roof windows, corners, drip edges, gutters, center/exterior chimneys, etc. etc. Thanks for the suggestion on google/images - I've never heard of that before and it produced quite a few sources. There may not be one source for flashing - if there isn't, maybe there should be. The NHBA reported that most houses fail due to lack of flashing - it may be that information is really hard to dredge up. Velux has some details on their website on roof windows. Thanks for your suggestion.
If you go to the Dryvit web site I believe they have a manual that is required for their product that is informative. I got a few tips from there but it is mainly for detail work regarding Dryvit. It may help.
I have a pamphlet from the lath and plaster bureau that was released after stucco had so much bad press around here (Minnesota) ( due to improper drainage plane and flashing details). Issues due to poor flashing shows up faster in stucco homes, and the info in the book is applicable to all ext. claddings. Check on line and see if you can find it, or I would be happy to send you a copy of one of mine.
go to Google>images> type in "roof flashing details"
then wait
