What gives? It has been cold as a witches…….. but somehow the flies are still coming in! I mean not above 35 or 40 all week.
Anyone else seeing the same! Or do I need to keep a cleaner house!

There's a constant source of clean water for you to use, and all you have to do is collect it.

The secret of Zen in two words is, "Not always so"!
When we meet, we say, Namaste'..it means..I honor the place in you where the entire universe resides, I honor the place in you of love, of light, of truth, of peace. I honor the place within you where if you are in that place in you and I am in that place in me, there is only one of us.
They are not coming in, they have been the house since the summer. They breed in hard to find spots and now their offspring hate going out in the cold. That's why they are called HOUSEFLIES! They generally like looking out the window and never fly around the room.
If they are on the big side, they are cluster flies, & they can squeeze through the tiniest little chink in the siding or trim. They are looking for a spot to hibernate. Often they wake up on sunny days, & forget to go back at night, so you sometimes see dead flies in the window sills in the winter.
As flies go, they are not much trouble - don't care for human food, & just hang around the windows.
Kate is right on the money...............and, I'll bet you will notice that they are prodomonatley on the south end or the sunniest side of your home.
I've used old fashioned fly strips with that sticky goey stuff. I think it's neat when they get stuck on there and keep buzzing their wing(s) some how, cept when it's 2am.
Be buzzed.
