I have a potential client who wants about 100 square feet of laminate flooring installed in her kitchen. The layout is basically rectangular with the cabinets and range and dw against one wall. My first thought was just to start at the empty wall and run the flooring to the cabs. Or should I start at the cabs -run my flooring under the dw and range a little ways then head for the empty wall. I was trying to think where do you want the peice that you will have to ‘jimmy’ a little to make fit – under the toe kick or at the opposite wall?
