I’m installing some cabinets in a basement bar area, and was wondering if I should install the 2by2 square plywood/plastic subfooring that they sell at HD under the cabinets? I’ll be laying down some composite wood flooring on top of that after the cabinets are in.
thanks Todd

What is "composite wood flooring "? Never near that term except for decking.

If you don't need you need to adjust the cabinets for the difference in heigh to the finished floor.
You will have extra cutting to fit them in.
How much will save by not running them under the cabinets, if any?
What are the possibilities that the cabinets or positions will be rearanged some time?
Its my sisters basement and I'm not sure which flooring they picked out yet. It could either be a pergo like flooring or maybe one that looks like its made out of plywood planks with a thick hardwood veneer thats prefinished. Sorry about the confusion. I probably should have called it laminate flooring but I couldn't think of it at the time.
I've got it figured out now. thanks
