A while back (probably over a year) Fine Homebuilding had a little article about a novel floor underlayment. It was a flexible sheet with dimples somewhat like bubble wrap. The dimples would keep the flooring material off of the slab and provide a vapor barrier and a channel for moisture to flow. There were sufficient bubbles and material strength so that the material wouldn’t collapse. Does anyone remember who makes this material? Or can you give me a pointer to search for it.
