I have a two story garage (detached) with a heated first floor. The first floor ceiling is insulated with fiberglass batting without a vapor barrier. The second floor is unheated and used for storage/exercise area. The second floor ceiling and walls are insulated, sheetrocked, and the roof is shake.
I want to install flooring over the plywood subfloor and I an concerned about the possibility of laminate flooring (or any material) acting as a vapor barrier, trapping moisture and rotting the flooring or the subfloor.
Any comments or suggestions are appreciated
