I recently found a dynamite deal on a once-used Stanley Bostitch flooring stapler MIIIFS but it came without the standard “rubber on one face, angled steel on the other face” hammer. I have struck out everywhere I try to find a vendor who carries this hammer. Any suggestions??

Try a local tool rental shop. They often carry this type of thing and know where to get it if they don't.
*Go to your local wood floor distributor(Wholesaler). Call a local flooring contractor to get a phone number.
