finishing up addition here and interior of laundry room is last
thinking of one of those in wall dryer arrangements that let you push the dryer right up to the wall and find it hard to believe neither my building materials supplier nor the local Lowes / homedepots carry this new wunderkind of product
name / supply houses & is it a product worth pursuing?

Hey John....I've used them in the past and been very happy with them....been a while though.
At the time, only the "original" version was available, directly from it's designer.
I remember ordering over the phone and speaking directly with the guy.
A quick Google and it looks as though his patent has expired, or he sold it, as there are several makes and models available.
Below is a link to what I believe to be the original.
I recomend it ONLY because of the great service and attention I received at the time. No idea if it's creator is even involved anymore.

For our dryer I got a "periscope" style vent adapter and screwed it to the back of the dryer. This way I can make the final connection above the dryer, after the dryer is pushed into place.
Do you have a Fergusons close. I can get the "Dryer Box" there.
Might try a real plumbing supply store in your area
many thanks guys
after seeing that site i'm realizing i should have had that young lady over to demonstrate before insulating & sheetrockin this instance i'll be able to go out directly in back and save this dryerbox for another application
