Hello All,
Has anyone ran into the law of unintended consequences with regards to spray foam insulation? The thought of encapulsating a buildings infrastructure systems with foam, raises questions for me about future repairs, alterations and servicing of those systems and the structure. From repairing a plumbing leak to structural repairs needed because of infiltration of water or even bugs; has anyone had to deal with such issues?

No, I'm pretty sure that you're the only one.
I guess the consequences of poblems with foam depend on how it has been used. Insect or other damage to foam in cavities is a lot better than when the foam forms part of the structure such as when it is placed under a slab or behind siding. I'm right off foam until it is ant proof.
