For the record... I'm right there with you. Whip up a shootin board in 5 min for most jobs. If it doesn't come out great, just chuck it when you're done with it.View Image
Sent you a e-mail Tuesday.
Didn't get it dude. If you sent it through the forum, that could be the problem right there as I haven't recieved a lot of emails and messages from Taunton lately.

Yeah, when I build my own jigs or modify a tool instead of buying something "new and improved" I find myself pretty well absorbed in the hows and whys of whatever I'm trying to use the tool for, too. I know it can be expensive when you factor in your time, but it has been an important part of my education.
Came back to say - If the Grizzly store there is anything like the one here, you are a better man than me, Gunga Din. I can't leave that place without buying something. Worst part is, the store is in Bellingham, where our youngest daughter goes to school. The only thing that saves me is the store is closed on Saturday, which is when we are most often up there.

How is your son making out at Harvard?
I wish I had a reason; my flaws are open season
He's really enjoying it. We were there at Xmastime and both recognised this is the first time in his life he's been truly engaged in his studies, all excited about the subject matter, teachers, colleages. It was nice to see.
Just now interviewing for summer internships - man, they make some serious money those guys. Remodeling contractor who once visited the Glass City.
