One of the guys at work asked me today If I had any idea about how to reattach the formica on his counter top.
Seems that in the middle of the run, the Laminate has seperated from the substrate and he’s looking for some type of adhisive that can be squeezed into the space to reattach the laminate.
Any ideas?

First thing I would try is heating the loose area with an iron set on high, with a damp towel under it. Get the towel wet & wring it out good, you want it wet, but not dripping. Set the iron on it for about 30-45 seconds, when you remove the iron/towel have something, preferrably a j-roller handy and roll the he!! out of it. If there was good glue coverage there to begin with and it just didnt get rolled good the 1st time, it should reactivate & stick. If not your next coarse depends on where it is in relation to an edge. By the way the towel will protect the laminate from the heat, however there is still a chance of damage. Taking the iron off too soon & trying again is better than scorching the top.
Second the heat suggestion for starters. If that doesn't work, I've done burn repairs on c-tops using these inset glass "cutting boards"...might be a possibility here, too. Would either give you access to glue or clamp loose plam down. Easy to install, they have a rim and clips like an old style sink.

Everything will be okay in the end. If it's not okay, it's not the end.
a heat gun will usually soften the contact afhesive enough to readhere properly as will an iron
start in the center of the bubble and heat evenly then roll out with lots of pressure
if the laminate will not stay down after this, then an air pocket is evident.
dril a small hole from underneath, an 1/8 willdo the trick, and reheat and roll out
maybe get a sink cutout piece from a cabinet guy to experiment with
