Hello I am looking for info on finishing the exposed Tuff-n-Dry board on my foundation, I was going to have someone cover it with wire mesh and parge it, but another contractor said it would crack. the board is made of compressed fiberglass could it be covered with Dri-vit or is that not a good idea because of exposure at grade? I know they have a latex finish system (Tuff-N-Dry Horizon) but nobody around here does it. Any help would be appreciated.

16 oz. copper sheets will work well. Used it to side our place. Original plan was stucco. Copper worked out much better. And it won't crack.
