Six inches -- is that wide or deep? What are the full dimensions of the washed out area under the foundation? How deep is the foundation footer below the soil surface?
foundation help
the foundation footer is 14 inches below the surface under that is the washed out area that sank a 6 inch gap is the widest or deepest of the area i have uncovered that extends under the house and am unable at this time to determine how far that extends under the home thanks dan
If that's all the bigger the hole is, I'd just pack it well with soil, using a post or such to compact the soil after every 2-3 inches.
