Our house is 100 years old and we are finding issues with the foundation. There is an area where the previous owners(crooked flippers) messed with the foundation and didn’t fix it too well. When it rains, water flows underneath. How can I temporarily fix this until we can address the foundation itself?

At first blush
Without more detail it would be extremely hard to make any sound recommendations. My first thought was divert the water away from the house and/or problem area.
Yeah, generally speaking you divert the water somehow. Basically mound up dirt in the area so that water runs the other direction, and maybe ditch away from the area.
