My son is remodelling his kitchen – – the home was built in the mid 30’s and is cinder block and brick construction. He removed the old plaster and is down to the block wall. Now he is framing the wall, insulating and drywalling. The challenge is framing around the existing window, knowing that there will be dry wall installed and trim (casing) around the window. Does anyone know a web site that illustrates how to frame around the existing window? I have searched but cannot come up with a decent illustration of how to do it.
