Wish I was closer, I might take you up on it.
Don’t know what your OH movers look like, but these folks in St. Louis can probably do the move if you need them.

I'm a bit far from you so no interest in the house.
I recall a church in my home town needing more parking space, they bought up 3 houses, same as your situation, free if you move.
Problems was that they were huge 2 story homes that were not cost effictive to move.
One of the houses had walnut trim in it, pocket doors, spoon carved wood work, Victorian era. I went to the church and offered to buy the woodwork in the house, "no deal, either move the house or it gets bulldozed."
Of course it all got destroyed and went to the land fill. Damn shame.
Even if you cant get someone to move it consider the salvage aspect of the house.
I would have givin the church $2500 for the woodwork, I could have taken those pocket doors into Chicago and got my money back plus on just the two of them, not to mention all the base and case.

We try to discourage posting the same message in multiple folders, since it confuses the old farts.
Huh?...I think I'm seeing double!

Sat there yesterday thinking, "I'd swear I replied to that thread," but didn't see it. Now its there, so must be the multiple listings throwing me off. jt8
Pete...does it have bridging? Strapping? Gable vents?
If it has any one of the three...I don't want it.

Take some time and contact the house movers in your area. The big outfit in these parts inventories houses and sells them delivered to your site. When they came to lift mine for me they offered to buy it and take it away.
Dave ...
Pete is the house mover.

Sounded like maybe he was the demolition guy. A house mover should sell houses... shouldn't he?
Have you thought of contacting Habitat for Humanity?
