I found the mfgr. of plastic furring strips in 3″ wide rolls. I’ll be using the stuff to create a 1/4″ rain screen behind my v-rustic siding. Typically it’s used behind synthetic stucco for the same reason. They also make it in sheets to be imbedded in stucco scratch coat for reinforcing. It’s a high impact plastic that’s been stretched like expanded metal.
