Any way to strengthen one for hurricanes without drilling holes in the floor?
Most articles I read say put up braces vertically with the bottom of the brace into a hole in the floor.

park your truck against inside the door
I suppose you could brace it from the opposite side of the garage with a long bar - still not as strong as bolting it to the floor though.
You could put something in that is like a threaded hole - that way you can plug it during the not so windy times and it won't get plugged with dirt.
