Does anyone have experience with the (Wayne Dalton?) enclosed spring/opener
combo that is now offered? Seems like a safer spring winding setup and a
cleaner look as it avoids the track of the opener.
Comments/experience good or bad?
Thanks,

Hi GT,
Only done a few, but they seem to work well, the instruction video isn't too bad either.
Anyone that has ever lost or slipped the bar while tightening the exterior spring type will love this system.

*We had one installed in December. Works fine. Has a nice clean look to it. Local overhead door outfit put it in for us. Door with opener and installation was about the same as the materials alone from Lowe's. The guy who put it in for us was in and out in less than two hours. Poetry in motion. Would have taken me all day.
