My wish has almost been granted. My 1 car garage has been demo’d and I’m building a 2 car garage with an accessory slab room. I’m going to install a hydronic radiant heat system in both slabs. I’ve come to understand(?) that due to compression and live loads not just any insulation board should be placed under a radiant slab. DOW makes a product called HIGH LOAD for this purpose. It comes it varies compressive strengths.
Has anyone used this product and which type should I use for a 2 car garage and a 12X12 room ?

Check the website of the foam board manufacterers. They list compressive strengths. You'll find that nearly anything they offer will be sufficient.
You'll need to know that concrete has a density of about 150 pounds per cubic foot. From that and your vehicle you can calculate everything you need.
I use 25 PSI foam FoamulR250 the pink stuff or dow 25psi
R-control beadboard is treated with borates so the bugs won't eat it the first month it's there.
http://www.r-control.com/ They sell direct from plants around the country, but you may not need that much. Last I got was minimum of $1600 couple years ago for free delivery. That's a lot of sheets.
It's the cheapest stuff, used to be about half of what blueboard cost.
Works great, you don't need that super density stuff.
