Any body got opinons on electric vs. gas dryers. I have only had gas. Doing a remodel and was recommended to plumb for both styles as everthing is open and potential resale. Thoughts

Gas is very much cheaper to operate. I would not use anything else if gas were available.
I think the 'cheapness' depends on your regional costs to operate the two. I know I should burn gas like its going out of style in the Summer, and electricity in the Winter. Doing the opposite of this would about double my bill.
Hmm, maybe I need a season-pair of clothes dryers ...
I'd plumb/wire for both. Some people prefer one over the other and you don't want to limit resale on your home. I've always had electric dryers and would consider it a tick against a home if I had to buy a new, more expensive appliance to replace the one I've got.
Plumb for both now, it is less expensive and looks better than trying to add in later.
That said, Gas is usually cheaper to operate. However, electric dryers are less expensive to fix if they have problems. I had a gas dryer and when it quit heating, the part and labor to fix it was $25 less than the dryer cost. I ended up replacing with an electric.
