I have been a GC for a couple of years, but have worked only for myself fixing up houses that I have purchased and reselling. I am now faced with acting as GC for a colleague and am interested in how GC’s normally set up their business agreements – i.e, what they ask for pay, incentives included in the contract, agreed upon responsibilities, etc.
Personal experience is preferred, but if anyone knows of written material – books or magazine articles – on this topic, I would be grateful.
Thanks for your help. LBA

Have you been thru the threads in the Business section?
*No. Is it a thread in the "Breaktime" section or somewhere else on the Fine Homebuilding site?
*If you look at the top of the page where this post is listed you will see some folders. One is called business. IMO like a self taught class with lots of instructers and class participation.
