what is a good product for sealing glass to cedar that would be more easily removed (should that need arise…) than a lexel (poly) type ? I know silicone doesn’t adhere well to cedar….

I am thinking of the old standby, putty.
As said, DAP 33...or think outside the box and use a formative gasket material like Resource technology has to offer.
Lexel and Geocel are still my choice, why plan for failure? And . you can still get them removed with a bit of ingenuity.
A layer of packing tape ( the good stuff, not dollar store type) prior to caulking willmake the tooling and clean up alot less messy.

Do you guys find dap 33 glazing comes off easy???
Most of the widows I have reglazed are old....don't know if it is even the same stuff but the crud is tough.....heat helps but I still end up dingin a mutton or two....gotta be a better way....can't aford any more fancy tools! (got my eye on a sweet table saw...and its purdy too)
