Anybody out there who has used Sika’s AcouBond floor method? I would like to hear from experience. It is a 3mm or 5mm thick foam mat, punched with an array of oblong slots, through which one guns the 1-part urethane Sika adhesive, using a special tip for the gun which imparts a pyramidal-shaped bead. The wood flooring, solid or engineered, is pressed into place over this. Used over wood deck substrates as well as concrete slabs.
