Anyone here with experience installing plaster border motifs?
The motifs are 3′ long by 4″ tall and aprox 1/4″ thick under the floral relief.
My job boss thinks I can simply put the plaster runs up using bondobetween it and a plywood substructure.
I’m not quite sure of the bondo. Thought some kind of pl adhesive. The plaster is kind of chalky.
I also think a few nails would help.
Putting up abot 16 pieces.

I did a lot of cast plaster facades on pipe organs. I always used a sizeing of white or yellow glue to seal the surface , then after it is dry you can use PL Premium to attach to almost anything.
Brush on the sizeing, and dabs of PL will be plenty. if you need nails, drill real carefully. I have cut the head off the chosen size nail and chuck it in a drill..the diamond point works better than a spiral drill bit in my exp.
Pretty easy actually, you can even leave the nails proud and nip them flush or carefully pull them when the PL is set up. Prop sticks work in awkward places too.

Perfect works are rare, because they must be produced at the happy moment when taste and genius unite; and this rare conjuncture, like that of certain planets, appears to occur only after the revolution of several cycles, and only lasts for an instant.
Say that three times..
Thanks a bunch.
The sizing sounds like an excellent idea, one I should have thought of. I feel much better now about this task.
Thanks again.
