Since I don’t want to poke a hole in my slate roof, I need to vent a new bathroom fan out a street-facing shingled gable. Anybody know of an inconspicuous or good-looking vent head I can buy? Tips on making one? Problems with such a vent in a vertical surface?

I know what you mean, I was looking for a decent one and couldn't find anything. Some of them are hideous, they look like a hood scoop off an old plymouth or something. I usually try to vent through the blocking for bathrooms. Maybe someone out there could start making some decent looking vents and make a million or two $$$?
