Initially, when the windows were being cased, the guy that was doing it used door-jamb material. This is too expensive!
So, after he split and I’m left to finish the job, I thought that I would get a table saw (see previous post) and rip pieces of a “type” of plywood.
What would be a good type of a material to use for this? It has to be paintable, so the only requirement is that it is smooth, doesn’t have to look good.
I was watching the New Yankee Workshop and Norm built a workshop hutch out of some really nice looking material…had a smooth texture, but it was just plywood.
Any ideas?
Thanks again.
