Just went to install the Sawhelper brackets on a new Makita 12″ slider (I think it’s the LS1214) and it looks improbable–lack of meat in the needed areas of the saw base plus a big rib molded into the saw base where the brackets would go. Anyone made this work? Did I get the wrong mount kit with this stand?

When I mounted mine on my 10" Makita slider, which I think has pretty much the same casting, I had to drill two holes for the mounting bolts. AD&E sent me dierections which had the exact drilling locations. It was pretty solid once bolted on.
Does that help at all?
