Serious coffee at HD? Now I'm really bummed ...
My local yard in Upstate new york has donuts and coffee free at the contractors counter. They also hold a contractors breakfast a couple of times a year. All the local boys come in for a free feed-up.
One of the other local yards has a free montly breakfast at one of the local eateries. Sponsors (ie: Makita or whatever) come and pitch their products while you stuff your face for free and then bolt for the job site as soon as you are full.

yea, around here the doughnuts and coffee are free at most yards or supply houses, i really don't think that home depot is giving away doughnuts, hell they even charge for lumber pencils.

Like others, are yard has been giving out free donuts and coffee for years...and we don't have to stand in line, get the wrong item, have it broken, etc. etc. Not quite sure how HD can screw up coffee and donuts, but I'm sure they'll figure it out.
Me: Can I have a jelly donut
HD-DD worker: Yeah hang on, I gotta go get some help
20 min later
HD-DD worker: Ok, here it is
Me: This isn't a jelly donut
HD-DD: Ok wait, how bout this, will this work.
Me: That;s not jelly either
HD-DD: Um, I think we have to special order it, It'll be here in approx. 4 weeks.
Can't I go 1 day without spilling my coffee?
